Super Mario Bros. Battle Royale Now Available Thanks To Fan Mod

Thanks to the ingenious idea of InfernoPlus, a new Super Mario Bros. mod brings the battle royale genre to the classic retro title. Appropriately dubbed Mario Royale, dozens up to ninety-nine other Mario sprites participate in a game and whichever single Mario can reach Bower’s castle first wins and a gains bragging rights. The Super Mario Bros. battle royale is based on the class NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) from 1985, taking the iconic platformer visuals with 98 other players. It is a browser-based mod that features controller support. All players fight for domination and power-ups in each. According to InfernoPlus, most rounds last a few seconds up to a few minutes. Despite it’s the identical, simplistic design to the original Super Mario Bros., the game is ninety-eight times more challenging with others fighting to win first place. Ready to try it out?
