Stranger Things Season 2 First Official Trailer Drops Plus October Premiere Date (VIDEO)

Let’s face it – many people don’t watch the Super Bowl because they wake up one day and suddenly they are American football fans. For many, they’re just there to eat great foot and watch hilariously awesome commercials. Netflix definitely wanted to capitalize on this and capitalize they did with the first teaser for Stranger Things season 2:

Shawn Levy told fans last year that the new season will center around closure for the characters after the events of the first season. The first season did so well, racked in record breaking numbers and even spurred off a Funko line for all things “strange”. Levy had this to say:

[…] Season 2 is about this determined desire to return to normalcy in Hawkins, in the Byers family, in that group of friends, and it’s the struggle to reclaim normalcy and maybe the impossibility of it.”

We know that the second season will house 9 episodes, two of which will be directed by Levy himself. This next chapter in the world of Stranger Things is promised to be dark and weird, topping the events of the first season. Can’t wait to see what it has in store for fans of the Netflix original!
