2019 has officially come and gone, leaving many people excited with a mountain of games to play if they didn’t get the opportunity throughout the year. That said, the Steam Awards winners have finally been revealed for 2019, with titles probably falling in line with what fans expected.

There are some parallels with last month’s Game Awards, but that was to be expected considering the titles that were released last year, and which ones grew in popularity. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, of course, claimed top prize for the Steam Awards, beating out the likes of Resident Evil 2, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and more.   • VR Game of the Year – Beat Saber
  • Labor of Love – Grand Theft Auto V
  • Better With Friends – DayZ
  • Most Innovative Gameplay – My Friend Pedro
  • Outstanding Story-Rich Game – A Plague Tale: Innocence
  • Best Game You Suck At – Mortal Kombat 11
  • Outstanding Visual Style – GRIS
