Star Wars Video Game News to be Announced at Upcoming Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars Celebration

Recently, during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgenson shared some delightful teasers about Star Wars Battlefront 2. The title has been confirmed many times before, but no official release dates or information have been announced. This will most certainly change with the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event. According to StarWars.com, Lucasfilm and Electronic Arts will come bearing news in relation to the movies and video games. More specifically, their arrival will mean a “showcase” of current projects.

Star Wars Celebration is almost here, and StarWars.com is excited to reveal some of the gaming content and events you can look forward to — no cheat code required.

Of course, that’s not all that is being shared during this momentous weekend. Demonstrations of the franchise’s mobile games will be available for testing, as well! Additionally, a special The Old Republic Cantina Community event will be held, allowing fans to speak with developers and designers. Inquiring minds an opportunity to ask questions pertaining to new IP and, perhaps, some could be convinced to drop little hints. Wouldn’t that be something?

Original Star Wars Trilogy

In other Star Wars news, “unaltered original edits” of the Star Wars trilogy may be released soon. The website Making Star Wars noted that the commemoration of the 40th anniversary would be an opportune time to release them. Even though this isn’t the first time fans have had their hopes up, the site is certain 2017 will be the year.
