Star Wars: Battlefront II Datamine Highlights Potential Inbound Maps, Weapons, And More (VIDEO)

Battlefront II Datamine

Thanks to a recent Star Wars: Battlefront II datamine, a handful of details have been unveiled regarding potential inbound DLC for the game. Coming in the form of a few videos, players can see what Electronic Arts may have in store for the future. With The Last Jedi season of content beginning very soon, both Finn and Captain Phasma are present in the datamined information, as are plenty of looks at upcoming maps, guns, and more.

The first video, provided by YouTuber DylanRocket, is quick and simple. Full-scale battles will be coming to Crait with The Last Jedi DLC, but not before players pick a side – The Resistance or The First Order. Represented by a beautifully rendered Finn and Captain Phasma, each faction comes with its own challenges that gamers can complete to earn rewards. Check it out below:

The next video to be part of the Battlefront II datamine, provided by YouTuber SYLO, takes a closer look at Captain Phasma, her abilities, and some weapons that are hidden within the game’s code. An early rendering of Phasma shows her without the cape, but this doesn’t stop her from tearing things up on the battlefield. Her grenade launcher is shown to dispatch enemies, while her ability to regenerate health can be seen as she places the energy field down during a fight. Hidden weapons were also found in the code, giving players an idea as to what they can expect as Battlefront II pushes forward. Check all of this out in the footage below:

The final video to be released(via Uninspired Zebra) shows off a handful of unreleased arcade maps. Death Star II, Kashyyyk, Hoth, Endor, and Jakku, and all make appearances in the footage, with each offering players new areas to get into battle. More specifically, the maps will focus on the following places: Command Sector North(Death Star II), Kachirho Beach(Kashyyyk), Outpost Delta(Hoth), Research Station 9(Endor), and The Graveyard(Jakku). Check them out in the video below:

Star Wars: Battlefront II is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Last Jedi DLC is set to arrive on December 5, a week and a half before the film comes to theaters on the 15th. There’s no telling when all of this content will make it to the game, but with events like The Game Awards and PlayStation Experience 2017 around the corner, we just might get some answers soon.
