Spider-Man PS4 Gets A 'Homecoming' Style Fan Trailer (VIDEO)

Marvel’s Spider-Man released for the PlayStation 4 earlier this year and brought with it a spectacular comic book adventure with plenty for fans both new and old to appreciate. One of the most frequent point of praise was the game’s cinematic presentation, and how it further elevated its web-slinging gameplay and movie-quality cutscenes.

It seems a YouTuber “USNIM” is also appreciative of this attention to detail, and has likened it to another fan-beloved entry in the Spider-Verse, namely Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man Homecoming. Assembling a number of scenes from the Insomniac-developed game, the editor was able to cleverly replicate the MCU movie’s stylish first trailer and harness the musical power of MGMT’s “Time to Pretend.” Check it out below.

The video above is pretty well-made and could even serve as a fitting trailer for the game for those unaware of it already. Spider-Man PS4 is next set to deliver a new set of DLC titled ‘The City That Never Sleeps‘ for those craving for another round of the web-head in their lives. The first adventure will introduce the character of Felicia Hardy, a.k.a. Black Cat, in a DLC expansion called ‘The Heist’ on October 23rd. Marvel’s Spider-Man is out now exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
