Spider-Man: Homecoming Actress Confirms She Will Be in Avengers: Infinity War

Spider-Man: Homecoming Actor Will Be in Avengers: Infinity War

Spider-Man: Homecoming has been wowing audiences since the film’s release this past weekend, and moviegoers are now looking forward to what’s next for the film’s characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s presumed that most of the supporting Spider-cast will pop up in the 2020 sequel, but a select few characters are slated to return in next year’s superhero ensemble Avengers: Infinity War. Now, one more Homecoming actress has been confirmed for the cosmic adventure, which could shed light on a few plot elements in the upcoming film.

Isabella Amara plays Sally, one of Peter Parker’s classmates and fellow academic decathlon team members. The actress reveals in an interview with BlackFilm that her minor character will make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.

“Yes. I’m in Spider-Man: Homecoming & Avengers: Infinity War.” the Homecoming actor says. “They are filming both Infinity Wars back to back, but I’m only in the first one.”

In Homecoming, Peter does anything and everything to try and earn a spot alongside the Avengers, even initially ditching his decathlon team to hunt down bad guys. Peter eventually comes to his senses by the end, opting for a friendly neighborhood presence for the time being. Amara’s presence in the upcoming Infinity War may suggest Peter will be busy with school or an academic competition when Thanos starts ripping the universe a new one, prompting a call from Tony Stark‘s “forehead of security” Happy Hogan. All of existence in jeopardy may justify skipping out on studies.

What do you think? Should there be this much of a focus on Spider-Man’s characters in Avengers: Infinity War, or does another member of the superhero team deserve the spotlight?
