Soul Calibur VI Adds Yoshimitsu To The Roster With An All-New Trailer (VIDEO)
The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia was recently introduced to the diverse universe of Soul Calibur VI, including a plausible backstory to boot. In fact, the developers of CD Projekt Red collaborated with Bandai Namco to bring a behind-the-scenes showcase of this particular Witcher in action – signs, potions, blade oils and all. Now, Soul Calibur VI has a brand new trailer to introduce the latest addition to its roster, the reprisal of a certain “mechanical ninja”. In the latest teaser trailer, Bandai Namco reveals Yoshimitsu in all his phenomenal whimsy and those soul-slicing antics. Check it out below:
Equipped with katanas and “a thirst for revenge”, the Manji Clan’s “most powerful warrior” returns to wreak havoc to those who deserve it. Yoshimitsu has received several different designs and outfits throughout the entirety of the series and they never cease to amaze. Suffice to say, this outfit looks spectacular and his skills look equally amazing. His sets will certainly throw enemies for a loop.
In general, Bandai Namco has stepped up their game with Soul Calibur VI in terms of effects and overall aesthetics and it shows. The new game features improved combat mechanics and diverse fighting styles all hosted on the Unreal Engine. Now that Ivy, Taki, Zasalamel, Kilik and many others have already been officially announced for the roster – who will appear next?
