Sony Rewards Lets Players Use PlayStation Trophies To Buy Games

Sony Rewards Program

The Sony Rewards program allows users to collect points gained by using a Sony or PlayStation card, purchasing products within the PlayStation store, and more. These points can then be traded for movies, music, and items found in the rewards program catalog. A new update to Sony Rewards allows players to get a little bit of love from the program with the ability to put the trophies they earn to good use and buy games with them.

There are three tiers of Trophy passes being introduced in the update to the Sony Rewards program based off of the Silver, Gold, and Platinum trophies. Earning 100 Silver trophies will net players 100 points or $1, while 25 Gold trophies nets players 250 points or $2.50. Lastly, 10 Platinum trophies is equal to 1000 points or $10.

Is the program worth participating in or will players ignore the potential rewards gained through their trophies?
