A New Skyrim Mod ‘Skyblivion’ Trailer Has Been Released – Return to Cyrodil (VIDEO)
It’s amazing to think how much hard work it takes to create game mods of all kinds. Recently, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in particular has been getting quite a lot of attention as the Special Edition has gotten a slew of updates for gamers to choose from. Generally speaking, most game mods run pretty small, aiming to change minor things in a title to make the experience just a little bit better. This is not what the TES Renewal Project is all about. No, the creators of these mods have been hard at work for well over 3 years creating a PC mod for Skyrim that rivals all previously released ones in every facet available. Lovingly titled Skyblivion, the team has been working tirelessly to recreate Oblivion in Skyrim since 2013, and have just now released a new teaser trailer highlighting their hard work. Check out the video below to see for yourself:
So far, the TES Renewal project doesn’t have a set release date for the return to Cyrodiil, but according to PC Gamer, one of the modders contacted them to reassure that their work is never done as they draw closer to a finished product.
Now that the base game is done we can focus on implementing the quests, voice acting and finish all the weapon and armor sets.”
From the modder’s description, it’s looking like it’s going to be awhile before Skyblivion is finally complete, as they still have quite a lot of work ahead of them. However, having the base game completed is a huge step in the right direction, and we can only wait impatiently for the day to come when we can try it out ourselves. In the meantime, the project is always looking for volunteers to help with this expansive project, so if you would like to help, or just have questions about the upcoming mod, you can check out their website or Twitter to contact the team personally.
