Six More Titles Added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatible List of Games

Even if you’re currently engrossed with Destiny 2 on any of the platforms, or anxiously awaiting the PC release on October 24th, several awesome games were just added to the backwards compatible list of Xbox 360 titles for the Xbox One. Although only supported in Japan, Virtual On is a series of games by SEGA AM3 (Amusement Research and Development Department 3) a.k.a. Hitmaker and it’s all about fighting mechs. Who can beat that?

Further along is the action-adventure Saints Row: The Third and infamous survival-horror Slender: The Arrival. Want to be thrilled to death? Well, that’s the game for that. There’s also the ultra classic Super Contra making its way downtown, which is sure to incite a squeal of glee from the most retro of retro gamers. Additionally, Monopoly Deal, and the story-focused, aquatic adventure title by ChAIR Entertainment called Undertow have been added, thus making six brand new additions.

All of them are playable on the Xbox One. So, whether you already own it or are dying to try some of these classics on the latest generation console — it’s your journey to choose! For the full extent of the backwards compatible list of Xbox One games, make sure to check out Don’t Feed the Gamer’s comprehensive compilation. Plus, it’s updated accordingly so there’s no fear of missing out on what’s available!

So, which of the six titles are you looking forward to playing? Super Contra is a definite favorite here! If you’re looking for something with an entirely different feel, Undertow might be a refreshing palate cleanser with a big focus on multiplayer as well. Grab your friends and try it out!
