Middle-earth: Shadow of War‘s story DLC Blade of Galadriel had its opening cinematic revealed recently during a livestream event by Monolith Productions. Without spoiling anything, this is additional content to owners of the game, and sequel to the main campaign that features Eltariel’s harrowing journey of completing a task entrusted to her. She must find within herself the determination and conviction to carry it out.
Fair warning to those looking to experience the entirety of the content, there will be spoilers ahead. For those looking forward to checking it out anyway, the video is right below and the cinematic begins at 9 minutes and 21 seconds:
Galadriel looks none too pleased with the results of Eltariel’s work so far, berating her for a task left unfinished. Even if all the assassin wants is to return home left with fewer limbs than when she started, but all in the name of the lady of course. The livestream hosted by Monolith Productions covers a variety of topics surrounding the Shadow of War story DLC Blade of Galadriel, as well as the core game. The story DLC can be purchased as an individual addition to the game, and will release next month. There are deals to be had if you purchased the expansion pass, however. Valuing in at $39.99, the pass grants access to all downloadable content including the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis, Blade of Galadriel, and Desolation of Mordor.
