If the pirate’s life is for you, you’ll have one hell of a time in the latest update coming to Sea of Thieves. Introducing A Pirate’s Life, Sea of Thieves is bringing an “epic original story” based on the highly-recognized Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with the one and only Jack Sparrow.

“We’ve worked closely with the Walt Disney Games team throughout this whole process, crafting an original story which brings out the best elements of both Sea of Thieves and their beloved Pirates of the Caribbean franchise,” Sea of Thieves’ executive producer, Joe Neate, mentioned in a post. “To see iconic characters like Jack Sparrow and his crew represented in Sea of Thieves‘ unique art style, interacting with our own pirate universe – it’s been such an amazing experience to bring this whole thing to life and we can’t wait for you to dive in.”

Free to all Sea of Thieves players, this season three update introduces uncovered secrets players will navigate after rescuing Jack Sparrow. In this update, sharks and skeletons are no longer a primary concern. Instead, they’ll come face-to-face with sirens, phantoms, and ocean crawlers. “Split across five incredible Tall Tales packed with secrets and side-quests, Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life sees Captain Jack Sparrow sailing in from beyond the horizon to sweep players into an epic new adventure,” Xbox described the update. “Free Jack from his prison and witness the power of the world’s greatest Pirate Treasure, which he just so happens to have stolen, before joining him on an unforgettable quest to stop dark forces from dominating this pirate paradise.”

A Pirate’s Life update comes to Sea of Thieves on June 22nd.
