Rocket League Cars Blasting to a Toy Aisle Near You

Rocket League Cars

Fans of the jet powered cars from Rocket League will soon be able to get their literal hands on twelve of the playable cars. Zag Toys and Psyonix are teaming up to produce a line of Original Minis Pull-Back Racers modeled after Rocket League cars! The announcement was made February Second on the website’s news section!

The twelve “Battle Cars”, a name derived from Rocket Leagues predecessor “Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars” (a mouth full, we know), work much like the toys we remember from childhood. Whether you got them from a toy store or a fast food chain, you would pull the car back to wind it up and then watch it go. Fans planning to get the Rocket League cars can race their friends or, as a favorite childhood pass time, launch them into wreckable terrain to see how much damage they can do!

The first set expected to roll out this spring will include Dominus, Octane, Hotshot, Masamune, X-Devil, Grog, Backfire, and Merc. There will also be four variants, considered limited edition, for you to get your hands on. As is the case with many of the Original Minis products, you’ll be buying blind-bags that will leave a lot of mystery to what you’re getting. The benefit lies on the side of the players, however, as some of the Rocket League cars will codes that players can redeem in-game!

We’re also bringing some unique in-game content with these new Original Minis, as some of the Racers will include a code that can be redeemed in Rocket League for a special Rocket Trail and Wheel!

For fans of the game who may feel swag is a bit light, this is definitely a well-received addition to the fandom. That they can move on their own adds an element of fun to the toys that are sure to make them a hit. These Rocket League cars look like a blast and we personally cannot wait to get our hands on them!

What do you think of the Rocket League Cars being made into toys? Are you planning on picking some up in the spring? Sound off in the comments below!
