Resident Evil 3 Remake Meets Animal Crossing With A New Isabelle Mod

With DOOM Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons releasing on the same day this year, many mods, memes, and more have combined the two together to make some hilarious and oddly wholesome content. Now it seems fans are ready to venture outside the meme-worthy co-release with a new mod for the Resident Evil 3 remake.

A new Resident Evil 3 remake mod called ‘Isabelle Mask‘ replaces the face textures of Jill Valentine for a “mask” of Animal Crossing’s best girl, Isabelle. It’s a simple mod and certainly not one that might be expected, but we suppose anything goes when it comes to modding. While the mod page says it’s a mask, it certainly looks more like a creepy head replacement ready to haunt player’s dreams as if the game wasn’t already terrifying enough.

The Resident Evil 3 remake is currently out for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, but the Isabelle Mask mod will only be available on PC from the NexusMods website. As mentioned before, this hasn’t been the only Animal Crossing-themed mod introduced in recent weeks. One of the most recent additions is that of DOOMANIMAL, a video that sees Isabelle, Tom Nook, and other animal friends shredding Mick Gordon’s BFG Divison from the DOOM franchise.

Will you be running a playthrough with this peculiar mod? Are there any other game’s you’d like to see Animal Crossing characters appear? Let us know your thoughts on the Isabelle mod for the Resident Evil 3 remake and more in the comments section below.
