Resident Evil 2 Clip Shows Mr. X On the Hunt With Hilarious DMX Dub (VIDEO)

Resident Evil 2

Fans are absolutely loving Capcom’s remake of the popular Resident Evil 2. Everything from its updated visuals and sounds to the use of the over-the-shoulder camera is being praised, but it would appear that just as many are having a good laugh at the expense of the game and its very own Mr. X.

In 2003, just five years after the release of the original Resident Evil 2, rapper DMX released the hit “X Gon’ Give It To Ya.” Ever since then, the song has been used in everything from the Deadpool films to Rick and Morty. While the tune doesn’t appear in the Resident Evil 2 remake, one fan has given everyone something they didn’t know they needed. After all, DMX has been referring to Mr. X all of these years, right?

As seen in the video above, the use of DMX’s popular song to go along with the antics of Mr. X is simply hilarious. Hearing the track from beyond the walls and then clear as day as soon as Mr. X comes bursting into a room is sure to induce copious amounts of laughter.

Once Mr. X lifts that helicopter with ease, he’s off to the races, stopping at nothing to ensure your demise. Set all of it to “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” and it’s a perfect pairing of hysterical and terrifying. At least none of that terror was included with the porn meme someone recreated with Ada and Leon.

Resident Evil 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as more ridiculous things arise from the title, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
