Red Dead Redemption Power Rangers Crossover Fan Art Is A Little Too Perfect

Red Dead Redemption Power Rangers

The past week and a half of gamer culture has been heavily obsessed with the latest Rockstar Games title to hit shelves, Red Dead Redemption 2. The sequel return fans to the west with a massive open world and deep sense of realism. The game’s players have been celebrating the game online, both for its stunning gameplay and its less than flattering disastrous moments. Many have celebrated the game’s narrative and characters, especially the members of the Van der Linde gang. It seems one artist was reminded of another famous band of fighters united under common goals, and thus created an awesome piece of Red Dead Redemption 2 Power Rangers crossover fan art.

Artist Bon Bernardo recently posted his new crossover art on his official Instagram account. The Red Dead Redemption Crossover art recreates the cover art style seen in both Red Dead Redemption games, where the protagonist is shown pointing a gun at an unseen target, with the Red Ranger used in place of John Marston or Arthur Morgan. Obviously, instead of an 1800s revolver, the Red Ranger in this art is using a blade blaster typically seen in use by Power Rangers.

Bernardo also cleverly hid some easter eggs in the background of the art. They’re quite subtle, but Power Ranger fans will likely spot the silhouettes of various Zords in the background of the art. The artist has clearly shown his love for the classic tokusatsu franchise, crossing the team over with other media properties like The Brady Bunch and My Hero Academia in the past. However, this one certainly takes the oatcake with its timely release. If only Rockstar Games would make a Power Rangers game, THEN we’d see fans Go Go wild!
