New Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Adds Zombies To The Game (VIDEO)
While Halloween may have already come and gone, that hasn’t stopped the Red Dead Redemption 2 community from wishing that a sequel to the original game’s Undead Nightmare DLC would be announced by Rockstar Games. Unfortunately, Rockstar has stated in the past that they aren’t working on such a thing, but thankfully the modding community has stepped up to save the day.
A creator by the name of jedijosh920 debuted a new mod recently on YouTube that brings the living dead to Red Dead Redemption 2 as they spread panic across the Wild West. Watching hordes of undead screaming into the night as they chase after their prey is a terrifying sight to behold, especially when an outbreak occurs inside the various towns and cities within the game. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t reveal a link for other players to use the mod for themselves. The post does include a link to the official Red Dead Redemption 2 modding Discord, where fans can talk about the Undead Nightmare mod or any other mods they might have an interest in. Here’s hoping the mod gets a public release at some point in the future!
Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The Undead Nightmare 2 mod is a wonderful example of what could be if and when Rockstar decides to bring an official version of a zombies DLC to the game.
