Red Dead Redemption 2 Frontier Towns Revealed And Detailed

Red Dead Redemption 2

With Red Dead Redemption 2 arriving soon, Rockstar is slowly rolling out more and more information concerning the upcoming title. From details on the story and characters players will meet, to the massive map and the living, breathing world the developer hopes to bring fans a true Wild West experience.

Part of this experience will take place in the various frontier towns and cities which dot the landscape of the game. Rockstar has brought some new details concerning these unique locations that players will be able to explore when the title arrives in October.

A new update to the official Red Dead Redemption 2 website features seven locations that fans can see in the game. Below are three of these unique locations complete with descriptions and images to give players and idea of what to expect.

First up is the town of Valentine, NH which resides in the Heartlands. This true Wild West town filled with folk just trying to make some money. Anything from gamblers, prostitutes, and outlaws just trying to have a good time- to even traders, ranchers, and cowboys attending one of the towns livestock auctions; this town is the perfect place to raise a little hell.

Rhodes, LE resides in the Scarlett Meadows and seem like a prim and proper Southern town. That being said, every town has its dark side, and Rhodes is no different. Deep rooted corruption and high tensions have plagued the town for years. It doesn’t help that the it sits right between the crosshairs of two warring plantation families: the Braithwaites and the Grays.

Once a logging town, Strawberry is slowly turning into something else. The arrival of the town’s new mayor, an “East Coast eccentric” who is obsessed with a change turning this peaceful working town into a tourist attraction for the wealthy and privileged. Needless to say the local townsfolk are baffled and not at all impressed with the decision.
