Red Dead Online Reveals New Moonshiner Role, Outlaw Pass No. 2
The roles within Red Dead Online are an impressive addition to the online RPG experience, bringing in new ways for players to interact and progress. While there are currently only 3 roles, there are sure to be more arriving in the future. One new role, in particular, has finally been revealed that will give players a chance to purchase their first stationary property and make some bootleg alcohol.
A recent newswire from Rockstar reveals that Moonshining will be the next great endeavor to hit the Wild West of Red Dead Online, allowing intrepid players to open up their own hidden still and maybe even one day open up their own secret speakeasy, complete with secret bar, country band, and dance floor. In order to become a Moonshiner, fans will need to already be a Rank 5 Trader. After reaching the required rank they’ll receive a message from Cripps offering an invitation to go see one Maggie Fike, an experienced bootlegger with the connections and know-how to get their illegal business up and running.

As players grow their small moonshine empire, they’ll also be able to take part in a series of story missions for Maggie in her quest to get revenge on the folks who tried to take her down. They’ll also be learning plenty of new recipes and techniques that will help make their brews the best around.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The upcoming Moonshiners role is set to drop on December 13th alongside the Outlaw Pass Season 2, both bringing with them entirely new cosmetics, unlocks, and weapons for fans to sink their greedy hands into.
