Rainbow Six Siege Officially Reveal New Operators, Meet Iana And Oryx (VIDEO)
Rainbow Six Siege is going steady, starting of its 5th year with no signs of slowing down from Ubisoft Montreal! Despite the change in leadership last year, it seems operations have been chugging along smoothly. In the latest video by the dev team, get an in-depth look at Void Edge operators Iana and Oryx, their gadgets, skills, tips and tricks on how to best utilize their set. We also get a see reworks made to the Oregon map, gameplay changes, and more. Check it out:
In addition to bringing on Oryx and Iana, Rainbow Six Siege’s Void Edge update introduces some “key renovations” to the Oregon map including changes to the office tower, basement,the attic, and a new hallway that connects the kitchen and the big tower. Quality of life and gameplay modifications include a revamped player hub, changes to barricade damage to make it more consistent, and attack drone spawn points will appear “on the same side of the building as the attacker’s first spawn location choice.”
An official launch date for Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Void Edge has not been announced yet, but the jokes have already begun. Referencing Oryx’s ability to smash his way through walls, community members are already claiming his Kool-Aid man inspired motto: “Oh yeah!”
