Rage 2 Recommended PC Specs Revealed

Rage 2 Recommended PC Specs Revealed

With id Software and Avalanche Studio’s  Rage 2 almost here, the folks over at Bethesda Softworks have revealed both the minimum and the recommended specifications for those looking to run the PC version of the game. Based on the gameplay trailers we’ve seen thus far, it was for the most part assumed that it would take a rather bulky rig to handle what Rage 2 has to throw at us. The revealed specs certainly confirms this theory. Check ’em out below:

Rage 2 – PC System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB or AMD R9 280 3GB
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Recommended System Requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Vega 56 8GB
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

As noted, across the board PC players will need to have 50 GB of storage open for installation, as well as a 64-bit operating system. The memory requirements are the same, though the processor and graphics requirements differ substantially between the minimum and recommended system requirements. Thankfully, it’ll only be just a little while a longer before everyone and everything wants you dead.

Rage 2 releases on May 14th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
