For those of us who transitioned from DOOM to Quake and followed the intense online battles, news that a new title is coming is a sweet siren song returned to us. While Nine Inch Nails might not be the artist of choice any longer, the game still resonates and plays to the intense action we all appreciate. With a whole host of characters to play, Quake Champions is gearing up to be another great installment in the online PVP battle game.

As seen in the trailer below, there are plenty of featured characters to choose from. Whether you want to feast on bones with Sorlag or see the fear with sniper Visor, there is something for everyone in this fast-paced shoot-em-up! See for yourself in the video below:

Beyond the hype of the trailer, fans will be treated to a pre-launch, free-to-play version of the game that is available right now. While the game isn’t quite ready, players can still check it out from June 10th through June 17th. Quake Champions marks the first main title in the series since 2005 and will be available on PC.

While Champions was announced two years ago and entered a closed beta in the spring of 2017. It appears that now the game is ready to play for a limited time as they get ready to release it. Players will be able to play solo, with friends, with bots, or in Ranked Duel and 2v2 modes. This Steam early access is a limited time, so get on board!
