As seen in the above trailer, a new PUBG snow map is currently in development, with an expected release window of Winter 2018. The map itself has reportedly been in development for some time now, though PUBG Corp has yet to release any concrete information, instead focusing on its numerous rounds of testing for the Sanhok map.
Aside from the upcoming new environments, PUBG players will soon be able to enjoy riot shields, giving players an added layer of both protection and gameplay. Additionally, a new War Mode is coming to PUBG on Xbox One that will focus on much larger squad battles, changing up the game dynamic. PC Gamers have already enjoyed the War Mode events, but the Xbox One version will be enjoying it soon as well.
PUBG is now available for PC and Xbox One.
