PUBG Miramar Map Officially Arriving On Xbox One Next Week

PUBG Miramar Map Arrives On Xbox One Next Week

The PC version of PUBG has recently been getting into a bit of trouble, with the game’s limited-time ‘War Mode’ event getting pulled almost immediately after it made its return due to rampant server issues. Thankfully the Xbox One version of PUBG is operating just fine, and is on schedule for the official release of the Miramar map, which PC players have been enjoying since it launched with 1.0 late last year. The release date isn’t far off, either, with the map officially dropping onto the Xbox One on May 24. The official Xbox account on Twitter made the announcement, which can be seen below:

As seen in the above Tweet, Miramar isn’t the only new addition to the Xbox One version of the game. The new map arrives alongside a new title update that should see an improvement in performance, though the particulars of said update have yet to be revealed.

As with most PUBG updates, the contents of said update have already been on the console for some time, though only available for certain players through the game’s test servers. The popular PC addition of the map picker feature was also being tested, and it should be a popular add-on to the game once it officially goes live. It is nice to see the Xbox One version of PUBG quickly closing the gap between itself and the PC version of the game, especially with the third round of testing for the 3rd new PUBG map, Sanhok, having recently concluded.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now available for PC and Xbox One.
