PUBG Announces Upcoming Sale, Free-to-Play Campaign

It looks like the PUBG powers that be are looking to make the game a bit more accessible during the ongoing pandemic. While discounts for the battle royale title are typically few and far between, PUBG Corp has announced that the game will soon be on sale for 50% off, with a special free-to-play period kicking off this week.

PUBG Corp recently took to Twitter to make the announcement, revealing that the free-to-play campaign on PC through Steam runs between June 4-8. Additionally, as the other part of the company’s #PlayApartTogether contribution, the game will be purchasable for 50% off during that time.

In addition to the PC discounts, those looking to snag PUBG on the PlayStation 4 will also have their chance to do so at 50% off. PUBG is officially joining the PlayStation’s Days of Play 2020 campaign, The sale on PS4 runs between today and June 16-17, depending on the region. Here’s the breakdown:

Given that the game has been on a steady decline, this campaign may be just what’s needed to help boost the battle royale title back up into popularity. PUBG is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
