Prey’s Price Dropped Less Than a Month After Launch

Prey's Price

Prey is the sci-fi first person shooter from Arkane Studios that was released on May 5th. The game follows Morgan Yu, who can be played as either a male or female, in a massive space station called the Talos I, which was used for researching a hostile alien species called the Typhon. The aliens escape and begin attacking humans on the Talos I leaving Morgan to figure out not only who he/she is, but also what is going on within the station. It’s a quality title with sound gameplay and controls, the art looks fresh and vibrant, and the player can go essentially anywhere they want, including doing space walks around Talos I. If this sounds interesting to you, now is the time to check it out as Prey‘s price has dropped just shy of a month after release.

Prey's price drop - Target

Prey‘s price drop is being offered at Target for $40 in the US, which is $20 less than what it was going for upon release. The sale is happening between May 28th and June 3rd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC players seem to be out of luck as the price has not been dropped for them. Target also has a few other games that are on sale, including Mass Effect: Andreomeda, Battlefield 1, Overwatch, Dishonored 2, and more.

While Prey isn’t as terrifying as other sci-fi horror games like Dead Space or Alien: Isolation, it is extremely eerie and uses that to its advantage. The focus on utilizing memory loss to, in a way, shape Morgan Yu is interesting and keeps the game going throughout each playthrough. Let us know your thoughts on Prey in the comments section below.
