Pokemon Sword And Shield: The Crown Tundra DLC Release Date And Details Revealed (VIDEO)

Pokemon Sword and Shield’s The Crown Tundra DLC finally gets a release date! The Pokemon Company president and CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara, revealed brand new details, including the return of gameplay features, familiar Pokemon and characters. Check out the update below for further details:

Find and catch a variety of legendary Pokemon in the snowy plain of The Crown Tundra and participate in the Galarian Star Tournament for challenging battles! The Crown Tundra also gives Trainers the opportunity to catch every single legendary Pokemon in history, according to the update. Players can embark on Dynamax Adventures to catch legendaries of preceding titles, including the likes of Zapados, Latios, Cresselia, Entei, and Mewtwo.

In the coming days, Pokemon Sword and Shield players can get special hat-sporting Pikachus with special passwords. There are a total of 8 different Pikachus with the first being the “Original Cap Pikachu” with the corresponding password: P1KACHUGET. Pokemon Sword and Shield: The Crown Tundra DLC will be available on October 22nd. For those who have yet to own either copies of the game, a packaged bundle of the base game and all DLC will be available beginning November 6th.
