Sony PlayStation E3 2018 Presentation Coming To Theaters – Details Inside

PlayStation E3 2018 Presentation

Anyone who has watched any of the major E3 press conferences, save for the Nintendo Direct E3 specials, knows that the major players in the gaming industry all aim to make a big spectacle with their presentations. Now, Sony has confirmed that their PlayStation E3 2018 presentation can be seen in theaters as part of a special fan event.

Sony has especially been known for having their conferences match the cinematic quality that their games strive for. For the past four years, Sony has only furthered this goal by airing their E3 press conferences live in movie theaters across several countries. The company has provided many details on their official PlayStation Blog about the special theatrical livestreaming of this year’s E3 presentation in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and for the first time ever, Chile.

Fans who attend will be gifted a poster as well as several other physical and digital goodies for free. The digital goods can be unlocked in the Experience PlayStation app, so fans are expected to download that before the presentation. Tickets for the event will be free, but are expected to go fast when they are made available at 11:00 AM PDT next Tuesday, June 5th. Looking to see what the experience is all about? Check out the video from last year below:

The link for tickets will appear next week on the official PlayStation blog post, but fans interested can also check the same post to see if a theater near them is hosting the event. Fans should also note that they must be 17 years or older to attend and must arrive at least a half hour before the presentation begins or risk forfeiting their seat. It’s great to hear Sony maintaining this tradition, and hopefully the fans there find as much a fun positive community experience that those in attendance at the E3 press conference in person.
