NieR Replicant Remake Gets New Screenshots, Concept Art

Square Enix has been on a bit of a ‘NieR’ high as of late. Earlier this year, the Japanese publisher announced that an upgraded version of NieR Replicant was in the works for PC and consoles. Meant to be closely based off the original game the same name, ‘version 1.22474487139’ is currently in development for PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. Now, Square Enix has released a batch of new screenshot and concept art to get us hyped for the improved version of NieR Replicant.

Square Enix recently released some concept art and screenshots for NieR Replicant that chiefly examine the various locations the player will visit throughout the game. The artworks themselves are visually striking and, as one would expect, completely in keeping with the NieR style we’ve come to know and love. Check out the concept art pieces below:

Now, let’s take a look at the new NieR Replicant screenshots:

We don’t actually know too much about NieR Replicant and how exactly it improves on the original title. Still, given that we’re now getting a steady drip of screenshots for the game, it feels like it’ll only be a matter of time before we receive some concrete details regarding said upgrades and an official release date.

NieR Replicant is now in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
