New Darksiders Game Reveal Confirmed For E3 2019
E3 2019 is less than two weeks ago, and as the start grows ever closer, much of the list of games that are going to be featured at the expo continues to grow. A big new part of E3 the past few years has been the E3 Coliseum panels, which have allowed individual games and talented creatives to find an extra place to stand out at the crowded event. It was revealed recently that Square Enix Marvel’s Avengers game would be one such title to be featured at the Coliseum, and now, the rumors about a new Darksiders game have been proven true thanks to an E3 Coliseum panel listing.
The listing for the new Darksiders game panel was posted recently on the official E3 Coliseum website. It appears that on Thursday, June 13th at 10:30 A.M., the E3 Coliseum will host a panel titled Darksiders: Action Adventure Evolved that seeks to not only discuss the specific Darksiders franchise, but maintaining gaming franchises as a whole. Not only that, but the panel will also reveal a brand new Darksiders game as well. As the description reads:
A discussion about the inception of the Darksiders universe and where it’s headed next. This panel will coincide with the E3 2019 unveil of a brand new Darksiders game that takes the franchise in a fresh direction. This is a panel discussion about the art and business of creating and maintaining an action adventure franchise rich in-game and corporate lore.”
There’s no word yet from THQ Nordic as to what this game will entail, but some believe that the new game could be a prequel set before the first three Darksiders games. No matter what this ends up being, the world will soon find out what lies behind the dark side of the E3 schedule soon.
