Netflix's The Witcher Star Henry Cavill Hypes Up New Series With A Snow Day

It appears that Netflix’s The Witcher star Henry Cavill is out there living his best life. The Superman actor recently posted a new photo over on his Instagram account, wherein he shows off his Audi and his rippling muscles to the backdrop of a snowy day in Hungary. So, just a typical Saturday for Geralt of Rivia. In the caption, Cavill states that he wasn’t going to let “a little slippery hill” stop him from hitting the gym, because he plans on delivering “the best live-action Witcher possible” to fans of the CD Projekt RED games, based on the books by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.

“It’s a solid snow day here in Hungary and I live at the top of a 2km hill, but it’s also leg day so I will have to trust in this lovely steed from Audi to get me to the gym in one piece,” Cavill said in his post. “Can’t let a little slippery hill get in the way of me bringing you the best live action Witcher possible can I now.” The photo has gone fairly well with the public, racking up over one million likes since it was posted yesterday.

The last that we heard, Netflix’s The Witcher had entered production, and as such it is likely that we’ll be looking at a mid to late 2019 release for the upcoming series. Based on what we’ve heard so far, it should make for one helluva ride.
