Netflix's The Witcher Series Showrunner Opens Up About Dealing With Haters

It is no secret that TV adaptations of popular books and video games typically face a significant amount of scrutiny, a fact known all too well by Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ series showrunner Lauren Hissrich. Since she began sharing her team’s progress on Twitter, Hissrich has been subject to near constant backlash and threats by ‘fans’ that aren’t happy with the team’s creative decisions regarding the series. Now, the showrunner has opened up about how she deals with the hate in a new series of Tweets. Check ’em out below:

This isn’t the first time Hissrich has spoken out against hate from fans, though hopefully she won’t have to do it again now that the majority of the cast for Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ series has been revealed. It’s the internet, though, so you never know.

‘The Witcher’ TV adaptation airs at some point in the future exclusively for Netflix.
