Mortal Kombat 11 Leak Reveals New Sindel Render, Release Details
As foretold in the Kombat Pack reveal for Mortal Kombat 11 those many moons ago, Sindel will be returning to the Mortal Kombat series as a playable fighter. The meantime has produced an epic array of kontenders such as Nightwolf, the Terminator, and even a Day of the Dead-themed version of Liu Kang, but the screaming Queen of Edenia will soon have her time to shine by the looks of a recent leak.
According to a recent Reddit post (H/T Prima Games), a number of new details have been revealed about the upcoming release of Sindel, all arriving by way of a leaked in-game bio entry. By the looks of things, Sindel’s November debut will also grant Kombat Pack owners a new cosmetic DLC called the ‘Gothic Horror Skin Pack,’ presumably outfitting roster members with a touch of brooding darkness. Among the listed was a Klassic Cassie skin, the fighter’s second special skin following a Harley Quinn variant that released last month. The full leaked bio can be read below.
Early Access for Sindel begins on November 26th. The former Queen of Edenia will stop at nothing to keep her place. When threatened with the loss of her throne when Shao Kahn conquered her realm, Sindel betrayed her husband, and her people, to keep her privileged position. Now Shao Khan’s wife and Queen of the Outerworld, she enjoys power and wealth beyond most people’s imagination. Good luck to anyone who tries to take it from her. Kombat Pack owners will also get the Klassic Cassie skin and Gothic Horror Skin Pack. Sindel will be available for standfalone purchase starting December 3.”
The new release information wasn’t the only leak to happen as of late, with a new render providing another look at Sindel over the last few days. The character’s Revenant appearance largely mirror’s her Kombat Pack reveal, save for a smirking expression that almost certainly spells a gruesome death for her opponent. The render can be viewed below.
Though there’s plenty of Mortal Kombat 11 goodness to look forward to in the foreseeable future, several other hints have come forward about what lies beyond the current Kombat Pack. A second Kombat Pack has been the subject of rumors, a potential Shaolin Monks remaster has been discussed, and a “big surprise” has been teased for 2020. Of course, there’s also that big Mortal Kombat movie reboot currently filming in Australia.
Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Sindel arrives in Early Access on November 26th, followed by a standalone release on December 3rd.
