Mortal Kombat 11 Unveils Cetrion As All-New Playable Fighter (VIDEO)

With the end of its closed beta, Mortal Kombat 11 is going full steam ahead to release, a packed character roster and stunningly brutal gameplay going along for the ride. Considering what NetherRealm Studios has shown off over the past few weeks, it would seem the developer wouldn’t have much left to reveal, especially with its launch date drawing closer by the day. However, Mortal Kombat 11 has once again dropped a surprise, announcing the addition of an all-new playable fighter..

Mortal Kombat 11 has unveiled the first look at the new character, an Elder God named Cetrion sporting a wealth of elemental abilities. Highlighted by her green-hued appearance, a showcase of the character has debuted exclusively via the Game Informer website, as part of the outlet’s May 2019 coverage. A peek at he character can be seen in the trailer below.

The amount of characters konfirmed for Mortal Kombat 11 have increased considerably over the last few weeks, the likes of Liu Kang, Jax, and Shang Tsung showing off their respective in-game debuts. Even more have been teased for a proper showing over the next month, one of which being the previously-revealed Noob Saibot, who was teased as a focus of NetherRealm’s next upcoming Kombat Kast livestream.

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to debut for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd.
