Capcom Reveals Monster Hunter World Release Date, Game Editions, and Pre-Order Details (VIDEO)

During this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Capcom reveals the Monster Hunter World release date, a variety of editions for the game, pre-order bonuses, and an awe-inspiring new trailer to top it all off which can be seen below. The highly anticipated release of a non handheld version of the Monster Hunter experience arrives January 26th, 2018 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, and a PC release is expected at a later date. During TGS 2017, Capcom not only announced the aforementioned global debut, but Sony even showcased a Monster Hunter World themed edition of the PS4 Pro, the “Liolaeus Edition”.

For those looking for something a bit more tangible and collectible, there’s the $150 price tag for a physical collector’s edition of MHW for both the Xbox One and PS4. For those of whom pre-order the game, there’s a limited edition bonus included for all versions of the game bought and it features the Origin Armor set that gives a shout-out to past installments of the franchise. There’s also the Fair Wind charm, an equippable item that increases the player’s attack power, which gives players a chance of reduced damage taken during combat, as well as a dope visual effect that makes your character glow.
