Mission: Impossible – Fallout Trailer Features Insane Tom Cruise Action (VIDEO)

Mission: Impossible - Fallout Trailer

Much to the delight of Tom Cruise fans the world over, the new Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer aired during the Super Bowl featuring tons of the death-defying stunts that both Cruise and his iconic character Ethan Hunt are so well known for. As the movie’s first full length trailer, it paints a rather clear pictures of just what Ethan is up against before launching its viewers into an adrenaline-fueled thrill-ride. Check it out below:

The Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer opens with what appears to be the ‘fallout’ of a failed mission by Ethan Hunt and the rest of his IMF team. Based on a conversation between Alec Baldwin’s character and his CIA counterpart (played by Angela Bassett), it appears that Hunt chooses to save a member of his team rather than complete a mission, which results in the loss of a not insignificant amount of plutonium. At this point both Henry Cavill and his mustache appear to question just what would happen if someone like Ethan were to snap after being betrayed so often by his own government. And snap he does, as we are then treated to some interesting character development in the form of Hunt running over a rather surprised-looking Rebecca Ferguson, whose character forced Hunt to crash his bike and injure himself in a similar situation in Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, and Henry Cavill.  Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris also return to reprise their roles. Mission: Impossible – Fallout arrives in theaters on July 27, 2018.

So, thoughts on the Missions: Impossible – Fallout trailer? Is Sean Harris’ character once again the main villain, or is someone else pulling the strings this time? Most importantly, what did you think of Henry Cavill’s mustache?
