Metroid Prime 4 Rumored To Be Developed Alongside Bandai Namco
Earlier this Summer, Nintendo revealed that the Metroid Prime franchise was back and the feedback from the gaming community brought with it waves of excitement for a nostalgic comeback. Especially coupled with modern technology and graphics, it would be an ideal set up for a highly sought after addition to the series. From the publishing and developing company that brings epic JRPG and fighter games will be the co-developer of the Prime series. That’s right, alongside Metroid producer Kensuke Tanabe, Bandai Namco will be co-developing Metroid Prime 4.
According to a Reddit post, fans should expect in-game footage to be revealed within the next year. While this remain as simply a rumor for the time being, the information comes from the same source that accurately predicted the Injustice 2 TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) reveal and the Enchantress. Based on merit alone, one can only hope the following to be true:
Metroid Prime 4 should have something revealed with some in-game footage early next year from what I’ve heard. I’m hearing that Direct in January particularly. Bandai Namco is developing the game for Nintendo. I don’t know which development studio.”
Other predictions include the coming of Soul Calibur VI and a Devil May Cry 5, as well as additional Dragon Ball FighterZ characters like Black Goku, Broly, Bardock and more. As crazy as they may sound, the gaming community has asked for these for ages. At this point, there are no grey areas for anticipation.
What do you think of the sources claims? Do you believe a Metroid Prime 4 is in the making with Bandai Namco or is it just false hope?
