New Mass Effect: Andromeda DLC Teased by Members of the Dev Team
Shortly after Mass Effect: Andromeda was released and all was (mostly) right with the world, it was announced that BioWare Montreal would be turned into a support studio for the title and that the ME franchise was being put on hold. Some of the team members moved on to work on Star Wars Battlefront II, but others remained to keep an eye on their baby. While this practically meant nothing new was going to be introduced to the game, some members of the dev team may have recently teased a bit of Andromeda DLC that could be inbound.
It was during a recent Twitch stream that a few members of the BioWare writing team decided to remain tight-lipped on anything pertaining to future content. It’s always the quiet ones that hold the most information. Following suit, BioWare writer Sam Wallschlaeger took to Twitter to perform the same routine. Of course, she threw in #secrets for good measure.
I can't talk about what I'm working on, but it's safe to say this is my favorite thing I've ever written. #secrets

After the downsizing of the BioWare Montreal studio, would it even be possible to produce new Andromeda DLC? Does Sam‘s enthusiasm really make you wish this is true? During the same Twitch stream mentioned above, the developers were able to disclose that resolutions are in sight for the way things may have ended in MEA. If you played it, you know what’s up. Unfortunately, this can all go one of a couple ways – Andromeda DLC is in the works and will bring a conclusion to the most recent journey, or nothing new is inbound and we have to live with what we already have. Really, anything can be happening at BioWare, but until we hear more from the horse’s mouth, we can only speculate.
What say you, Pathfinders? Are you in need of Andromeda DLC? Without being too spoilery, what are your thoughts on the ending of the game? If new content is to come, what should it contain? Could it possibly be a non-game item? Sound off in the comments section below, and be sure to follow DFTG on Twitter for live gaming and entertainment news 24/7. Speaking of Mass Effect, do you want to be entered for a chance to win ME-themed loot? Vote on your favorite love interest right here, and the winners will be announced on July 1st!
