Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 Features Stan Lee Cameo (VIDEO)

Marvel and Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Spider-Man finally launched exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Although there were recent and laughable “downgrade” meme of a failed game, plenty of fans have already begun singing its praises. From its insane combat action shots and scenes to the beautifully crafted visuals, there’s a lot to love. And there’s even more to love with Stan Lee.

WARNING: possible spoilers ahead!! There have been plenty of news surrounding Stan Lee’s health conditions as of late, wherein the beloved icon of the Marvel universe will no longer hold public autograph signings. For good reason it seems, but that doesn’t stop Stan “The Man” Lee from making an appearance in Spider-Man. As usual, his cameos are short and sweet.

This time, he’s a short order cook who speaks directly to Mary Jane as Peter Parker leaves the restaurant in a hurry. Sirens call for the help of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man just as the two entered a serious conversation. There’s obviously romantic tension between them, but they have yet to find the time to resolve any issues. Despite it all, Stan Lee tells her exactly what many fans are likely thinking: “Love seeing you two together again! You always were my favorites.”

In other Spider-Man news, the release date for the game’s first DLC “The City That Never Sleeps” was recently announced. Arriving in three separate parts, the complete set will run gamers a moderate price of $24.99 (USD). Each part can be purchased individually for $9.99 as well.
