The Lion King Invades Monster Hunter World With This Mod (VIDEO)

The Lion King x Monster Hunter World

Monster Hunter World is definitely at the top of many gamers’ lists for best games of 2018, and with a new year upon us, it is time for the title to only get even better. One way that players like to improve on an IP is through the use of mods.

That said, a new mod for Monster Hunter World adds Simba from The Lion King to the game, and we couldn’t possibly be more here for it. Created by UberGrainy and uploaded to Nexus Mods, The Infernal Lion King brings Simba to the action by replacing Teostra. Check out the mod in action for yourself below:

Sure, the visuals aren’t exactly perfect, but the inclusion of “The Circle of Life” is a nice touch. In addition to this, we see the Teostra-turned-Simba take on Thomas the Tank Engine. It’s unknown if this is part of the same mod, or if it is actually the Thomas mod working in conjunction with The Infernal Lion King.

After a friend brought up the idea of adding Simba to Monster Hunter World, modder UberGrainy decided to go forth with doing what needed to be done. They also mention that they were going to make Nala as well, but figured they should get this mod released first. Who knows, we just might see the king and queen together in the game at some point.

To learn more about the mod, check out the Nexus page right here. Monster Hunter World is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with the mod only being available to PC players.
