GTA V Godzilla Mod Brings The King Of Monsters To San Andreas (VIDEO)
GTA V has been around for quite a long time, long enough that fans have been able to craft a lot of impressive and unique mods to make the game even more enjoyable. Some mods integrate characters from other franchises into the game, complete with all the overpowered abilities or gadgets that they use such as Iron Man, Hulk, the shark from Maneater, King Kong, or even the Predator from the titular film series. Now it seems modder JulioNIB is working on yet another project that will let players become the King of Monsters, Godzilla ,within GTA V’s San Andreas.
A preview of the mod was recently released on the TK Rebirth YouTube channel showing off the kaiju in all its glory. The GTA V mod from JulioNIB has it all, from the sheer size of Godzilla towering over the cityscape to the iconic atomic breath that the creature uses, complete with audio and visuals of the ability charging up and being fired off. Unfortunately, the mod isn’t able to include any additional destructibility in terms of buildings or the environment itself. Still, fans can demolish vehicles and cause overall chaos on a whim simply by walking in a single direction.
The GTA V mod is currently a work in progress but JulioNIB indicates that one of the more iconic foes of Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, is also being made. The mod is currently early on in development and it’ll be interesting to see how it evolves over time.
It doesn’t appear that the mod has a release date yet but fans can follow along with the progress on the modder’s Patreon. Are there any creations you’d like to see come to life in GTA V?
