‘Lego Batman’ Wishes Everyone a Happy New Year in Promo for The Lego Batman Movie (VIDEO)

Lego Batman Happy New Year

The Lego Batman Movie will be gliding into theaters in a little over a month’s time, and so far, the film has produced some pretty hilarious trailers. A new promo was released earlier celebrating the start of 2017 and wishing viewers a happy new year. The short video parodies that one scene from The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio (you know the one). You can check it out below.

Lego Batman (Will Arnett) first appeared in the 2014 film The Lego Movie and the over-the-top character’s popularity, and the fact that he’s Batman, positioned him for his own Bat-spinoff. The movie is set to feature numerous characters from Batman’s home of Lego Gotham, including Robin (Michael Cera), Alfred Pennyworth (Ralph Fiennes), Barbara Gordon (Rosario Dawson), and even The Joker (Zach Galifianakis). You’ll be able to check it out for yourself on February 12, 2017.

So, are you going to see The Lego Batman Movie when it comes out? Are you more excited for Ben Affleck’s intense version of the character to have his own solo film? Or do you prefer to play the Batman: Arkham games instead? None of these choices are wrong because all personal opinions are correct.
