Left Alive Teasers And New Projects For 2018 Discussed By Developers
The Tokyo Game Show had a lot to offer this year, and one of the more attention-grabbing reveals came from Square Enix. According to director Toshifumi Nabeshima, Left Alive teasers are on their way in the not too distant future. With such positive reception so far, both fans and developers are looking forward to seeing this game develop to completion.
The news came in a New Year group interview with Japanese publication 4Gamer. Nabeshima-san expressed great joy at the reaction to the game announcement, saying that fans superseded his expectations. While he said this put more pressure on him to make a quality game that lives up to standards, he was also excited to note that more Left Alive teasers were not far off from being revealed.
Left Alive teasers weren’t the only thing on the docket. While fans have been anticipating more news on the survival action shooter, Square Enix developers also discussed their plans for the new year. Starting out with encouraging staff to create games that would allow for surprising information in the new year, many members of the team expressed an interest in creating new titles.
Most notably, Brand Manager for Final Fantasy Shinji Hashimoto added that the games on console and smartphones are continuing to improve. With the 30th anniversary behind them, he hopes to return to the origins of the game and continue development. In the same vein, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata stated that his team is focused on developing for the next generation. With the director given permission to do side projects, he intends on doing something more in that same direction as well.
