Kingdom Hearts III: Everything We Know So Far
The first Kingdom Hearts game released in 2002 with the titular game, beginning a beloved storytelling of the classic light against darkness. Players ventured across worlds and emotional turmoil alongside a determined boy named Sora to save his childhood friend while making others along the way. Soon enough, Kingdom Hearts III will make its debut soon, marking the next entry within the Square Enix franchise.
There have been delays, rumors, and a whole lot of mystery surrounding Kingdom Hearts III, but as we approach E3 2018 the veil of mystery gradually rises. In fact, fans will even receive an official release date during this time as well though there have been nudges of a 2018 timeline. As for the story and worlds players will encounter this time, the developers have shared quite a few secrets already. Alongside Sora will be the loyal and intrepid Donald and Goofy as they traverse through the worlds of Monsters Inc., Tangled, Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Wreck-It Ralph, and more. Pretty much every mainstream star from Pixar and Disney will be there.
Organization XIII makes their reprisal in Kingdom Hearts III and so does the Vanitas, the “Masked Boy”. There will be various keyblades and epic transformations to take for a spin, boss fights of a preposterous scale, flashy Attraction Flows and link attacks. Players can even enjoy fun mini-games when the burden of overcoming evil becomes too much. Aside from the obvious theme of light against dark, here’s everything else we know about the upcoming game and a few screenshots too:
