Kingdom Hearts III Mini-Games, Plot Details Unveiled In New Trailer (VIDEO)

Kingdom Hearts III Mini-Games

With steam picking up for Square Enix’s next installment in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, fans are looking high and low for any new information. Luckily, the studio is becoming a bit less shy about revealing what players want. That being said, a new trailer has unveiled some Kingdom Hearts III mini-games as well as more plot details.

The trailer, which features the game’s Classic Kingdom, “Originally aired at KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting.” It shows the franchise’s original trio spending some time with the Kingdom Hearts III mini-games. We can see Sora enjoying a different version of Game & Watch than players are likely used to. Instead of the usual stick man figure, Micky Mouse and Sora are placed inside of the mini-game to take care of business. Alongside Game & Watch, other mini-games include The Barnacle Battle, The Karnival Kid, Giantland, and Musical Farmer. Check them out in the trailer below:

The Kingdom Hearts III mini-games weren’t the only thing about the new trailers that has fans talking. We see our favorite characters hanging out in a town square, but there are a few details that could point to where exactly they are. A French restaurant seen in the back points to a Ratatouille connection, while others believe it to be an iteration of Traverse Town. With Sora and company hanging out with the likes of Kingdom Hearts II’s Hayner, Pence, and Olette, this would make one believe we see the characters in Twilight Town. We’ll just have to wait for more in the coming weeks.

Kingdom Hearts III is currently without a release date, but fans are hoping for a 2018 launch. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news going on right now, check out the following:
