Jump Force Debuts New Rurouni Kenshin Characters

Several of Shonen Jump’s heaviest hitters are coming together for the epic crossover title Jump Force and have so far added a number of big series’ to it’s already expansive roster. Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Hunter x Hunter are already bringing the heat with the inclusion of their respective characters, but Bandai Namco has now unveiled the latest franchise to make its debut.

Revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Jump (via Gematsu), Himura Kenshin and Shishio Makoto from Rurouni Kenshin have been confirmed as part of Jump Force’s playable roster. As with the recent reveal of Dragon Ball, a full look at the characters has yet to become available, but luckily that wasn’t all the magazine had to offer.

Also touched upon was the the game’s custom fighter feature, which was said to have considerable options when players go about making their own character. Facial features such as eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and eyebrows were confirmed adjustable along with other aspects like physique, costume, color, voice, gender, and battle style.

The addition of Rurouni Kenshin into Jump Force is sure to have fans excited, especially when stacked alongside the sheer array of other characters already part of the roster. While the game won’t feature an English dub, there seems to be more than plenty to warrant hype when Jump Force releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 15th.
