John Wick Fortnite Event and Challenges Now Live (VIDEO)

Following a series of compelling leaks, it appears Epic Games planned collaboration with John Wick 3 is indeed real and has now gone live in Fortnite. The big John Wick Fortnite event arrives to the battle royale mode with guns blazing, debuting new gear, a new Limited-Time Mode, and new challenges themed around Keanu Reeves’ popular brooding assassin.

Seen above, the proceedings kicked off with a pretty spiffy trailer highlighting not only the new John Wick character skin, but also how it compares to the “Reaper” variant of yesteryear. The event kicks off the new Wick’s Bounty LTM, which Epic describes as: “The High Table has opened a new contract. It’s up to you to collect the bounty. Stay alive and collect gold tokens by eliminating the other bounty hunters. The first one to fulfill the order wins, but be careful how far ahead you get, as you will become a target for everyone else.”

This new mode also comes with a set of challenges (seen above), which players can utilize to collect an array of Wick-inspired loot, including the Gold Token Back Bling, One Shot Glider, Boogeyman Wrap as well as increased bonus XP. The John Wick Set is also available in the shop, allowing players to get a hold of the new John Wick Outfit, wrap, as well as a Simple Sledge Pickaxe inspired by the new film.

Fortnite is out now for Android, iOS, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
