Injustice 2 PC Beta Begins – Full Release Announced For Next Week
A few weeks ago, NetherRealm Studios’ superhero fighting game Injustice 2 was finally announced for the PC, with an open beta arriving the next day. Following the news, publisher Warner Bros. Games quickly amended the statement, pushing the beta’s beginning to an unknown further date. As announced on Twitter, that date has finally come, with the Injustice 2 PC beta going live from today (November 6) until November 10.
Taking place via Steam, the online-only beta will only allow for standard one-on-one matches, with WB only needing to test the network code and infrastructure. Players will have full access to the game’s roster while the beta is active, including bonus DLC fighters such as Mortal Kombat‘s Raiden. Also announced was the game’s release date for PC and Steam, which will fall next week on November 14.

Though it wasn’t explicitly stated, Injustice 2‘s QLOC-ported PC version is expected to debut with all three Fighter Packs available on their respective store. With the addition of Dark Horse Comics’ Hellboy to the fight roster, it’s doubtful that PC fans would want to be left out of the DLC fold for long. Fighter Pack 3 is also set to come out in December, making Atom and two additional mystery fighters available for download.
