Ice-T Expresses His Disdain for DOOM Eternal’s Jumping

DOOM Eternal Ice-T

DOOM Eternal is an excellent sequel, providing players with rich environments, a wide array of demons to slaughter, and more. While there is a lot to love about the game, it isn’t perfect. The game is one that rewards continuous and fluid movement, but the jumping mechanics have proven to be a bit lackluster for some such as the famous rapper Ice-T.

The artist has a penchant for sharing his thoughts on social media, especially about games he’s been playing such as Destiny 2, Division 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Ice-T recently revealed he’s been playing DOOM Eternal over on his Twitter account and for the most part, it seems the actor-musician is enjoying the title quite a bit. However, one thing he absolutely hates is the game’s jumping mechanics and many fans seem to agree.

Though Ice-T has his gripes, DOOM Eternal has seemingly inspired a fruitful new fandom with Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with the two games releasing on the very same day on March 20th. Legions of fans have already shown their appreciation for the unconventional pairing with fun artwork, clever game mods, as well as a rocking metal music video.

DOOM Eternal is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 while a release onto the Nintendo Switch is set to arrive sometime later this year.
